Team Building in the Home

If team means any organized group working together to accomplish a common goal, that means that your family is a TEAM!

From better communication to just eating at the dinner table together, your Team-Family has goals and missions that you are always working on together. Simple teambuilding games build trust and help you all work together, get along, resolve conflict, and just have fun.

Besides various teambuilding games and activities, one easy way to help your kids learn team work at an early age is to incorporate it into your cleaning routine. Make list of the chores that need to be accomplished and assign each person a duty. Instead of the person being finished when their chore is done, encourage them to begin to help eachother until all of the chores are finished. Children will easily learn the value of helping and "TEAM".

We at Confetti and Coffee Coaching, LLC provide workshops and books to help you teambuild in the home and in the work place.

How do you team-build?

Angel's Do Fly, Just Listen.

It was early morning and I looked up to the sky.  I couldn’t see angels and I wondered why.
So I turned to my mom and asked her the question: “Do angels fly?”
She said, “Yes, just listen.
They are all around us, you can barely hear, so listen with your heart, and not just your ears.”
We walked to the park where mom watched me play,
and at the same time, she made bright someone’s day.
We went to the market for yummy foods to eat,
and on our way there, mom helped a lady cross the street.
When we got home I played with all of my toys, and mom didn’t fuss about all of the noise.
I was all tucked in and ready for bed, when my favorite story was the book mom read.
Listening with my heart was so easy to do.
“I love you Mom, the angel is you!"

Handle conflict through peacemaking

Conflicts are normal and a natural part of everyone’s life.  They are the simple disputes and disagreements that occur between all of our relationships.  Most of the time we think of conflict as negative, but without conflict we don’t experience growth or progress.

The goal of Team Building is not to eliminate conflict but to help you learn how to use it constructively, and to avoid the destructive aspects of it. And also, help you develop your peace -making skills that are already inside of you.

Romans 12:18 says that if possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone….

That means it is possible to live in Peace, it also means its possible not to.  But as far as it depends on you, let the peace in your home and your work and your life, begin with you.
